It is a semi‑permeable, flexible, and highly durable polymer valued for its low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Polyethylene is classified into grades based on density and chemical properties. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. Generally it offers good outdoor and moisture resistance, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used to manufacture slides, staircases, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. Wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for parts subjected to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barriers and shade structures. Material must be evenly distributed to achieve uniform thickness. Dimensional tolerance for thickness and measurements is ±5%. Carrier Construction The carrier structure consists of circular‑section steel tubes with an outer diameter of at least 114 mm (4.5 in) and a wall thickness of at least 2 mm (0.1 in), cold‑formed to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 specifications and welded by high‑frequency welding. Tubes are sandblasted and powder‑coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic paint. Electrostatic Powder Coating All metal parts are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel shot is sprayed onto the surface to open micro‑pores. After cleaning, parts are coated with polyester‑based electrostatic paint and baked at 200 – 220 °C for 20 minutes. The coated components then undergo a 10‑minute oil‑removal bath at 70 °C (5 % solution), followed by a 15‑minute iron‑pickling bath at 50 °C (1 % solution), then rinsed, dried, and finally cured in a 180 – 200 °C oven for 20‑30 minutes to ensure corrosion‑resistant welds.
