It is semi‑permeable, moldable, and highly durable, offering low cost and high resistance, which makes it popular in industry. Polyethylene is categorized into grades based on density and chemical properties. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure, and branching type. Generally it provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to make slides, stairs, handrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. Wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for components subjected to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barriers and shade structures. Material distribution must be uniform, with a dimensional tolerance of ±5%. Carrier Construction Steel tubes with an outer diameter of at least 114 mm (4.5 in) and a wall thickness of at least 2 mm (0.1 in), conforming to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394, are cold‑formed and welded by high‑frequency welding. The tubes are then powder‑coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic paint. Electrostatic Powder Coating All metal parts are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a texture that improves paint adhesion. A fine‑ball coating material is sprayed with compressed air to open micro‑pores for better paint grip and to clean the surface. After coating with polyester‑based electrostatic paint, the parts are baked at 200 – 220 °C for 20 minutes. They then undergo a degreasing bath at 70 °C for 10 minutes (5 % solution), followed by a pickling bath at 50 °C for 15 minutes (1 % solution). After rinsing and drying, a final polyester‑based powder coating is applied in a 180 – 200 °C oven for 20‑30 minutes. Weld seams are fully covered to prevent corrosion.
