It is semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable, offering low cost and strong resistance. Polyethylene is categorized by density and chemical properties. Mechanical characteristics depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure, and branching type. Although properties vary by grade, the material generally provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, modest mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used for slides, stairs, guardrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, and similar items. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. Material thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for parts exposed to pressure or friction and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barrier or shade elements that are not pressure‑exposed. Dimensional tolerance for thickness and measurements is ±5 %. Carrier Construction: The carrier structure consists of cold‑formed steel tubes with a minimum outer diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm, in accordance with TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, and DIN 2394. Tubes are welded by high‑frequency welding within the standard tolerance ranges for dimensions and cross‑section. The steel tubes are sandblasted and then coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder coating, which is baked in a furnace. Electrostatic Powder Coating Process: All metal components are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine metal beads are sprayed with compressed air to open pores and clean the surface. After fabrication, the parts are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in an oven at 200‑220 °C for 20 minutes. The components then undergo a degreasing bath at 70 °C for 10 minutes (5 % solution), followed by a phosphating bath at 50 °C for 15 minutes (1 % solution). After rinsing and drying, the metal parts receive a durable polyester‑based powder coating applied outdoors and baked at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. Welded areas are fully painted after welding to prevent corrosion.
