It is semi‑transparent, softens easily, and is highly durable, making it popular because of its low cost and high resistance. Polyethylene is categorized by density and chemical properties; mechanical performance depends on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching. Typical characteristics include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used for slides, stairs, guards, barriers, accessories, roofs, and similar items. To prevent color fading, masterbatch dyes must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. Wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) where the material encounters pressure or friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barriers and shade items not exposed to pressure. Material distribution must be uniform to achieve consistent thickness. Product wall thickness and dimensional tolerances are ±5 %. Carrier construction: The carrier consists of steel tubes with a circular cross‑section, cold‑formed to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, with a minimum outer diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), welded by high‑frequency welding. The tubes are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint applied in a furnace. Electrostatic powder paint: All metal parts are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for improved paint adhesion. Fine steel beads are sprayed with pressurised air to open microscopic pores and clean the surface. After fabrication, the components are coated with polyester‑based electrostatic paint and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. They then undergo a 10‑minute, 70 °C, 5 % concentration oil‑removal bath, followed by a 15‑minute, 50 °C, 1 % concentration iron bath, then rinsing and drying. Finally, a durable polyester‑based powder coating is applied outdoors and baked at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. Weld seams are fully painted after welding to prevent corrosion.
