It is semi‑permeable, flexible, and highly durable; its low cost and high resistance make it widely preferred in industry. Based on density and chemical properties, polyethylene is classified into several categories. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. Generally it offers good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, modest mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, and similar items. To prevent colour fading, masterbatch pigments used for colouring must have a light‑fastness value of 6 or higher. Wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for parts exposed to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barrier and shading components not subjected to pressure. Material distribution must be uniform to achieve even thickness. Wall thickness and dimensional tolerances are ±5 %. Electrostatic Powder Coating: All metal components are prepared for painting by sandblasting to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine bead material is sprayed with compressed air to open pores, then the metal is cleaned of oil, rust, and grime. After fabrication, metal parts are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200–220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Parts then undergo a 10‑minute dip at 70 °C in a 5 % degreasing bath, followed by a 15‑minute dip at 50 °C in a 1 % iron pickling bath, then rinsing and drying. Finally, the exterior is coated with durable polyester‑based powder paint and baked at 180–200 °C for 20–30 minutes. Weld seams are protected from corrosion by painting the entire assembly after welding.
