It is a semi‑permeable, soft polymer that is durable, low‑cost, and offers excellent resistance, making it popular in industry. Polyethylene is classified by density and chemical properties; its mechanical characteristics depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure, and branching. Although properties vary by grade, it generally provides good weather and moisture resistance, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and superior chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, stairs, handrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, and more. To prevent fading, masterbatch dyes must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. Material thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) in areas subject to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for components not exposed to pressure such as barriers and shade structures. Thickness and dimensions must be uniform with a tolerance of ±5 %. ELECTROSTATIC POWDER COATING All metal components are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel beads are sprayed with compressed air to open microscopic pores and eliminate contaminants. After fabrication, metal parts receive a polyester‑based electrostatic powder coating and are cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. The coated parts then undergo a 10‑minute, 70 °C, 5 % degreasing bath, followed by a 15‑minute, 50 °C, 1 % iron bath, then rinsing and drying. Finally, the entire product is painted as a single piece to prevent corrosion at welds, using a durable polyester powder coating cured at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes.
