Wood sections will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). The wood used in production must meet the following criteria: knots – each piece may contain up to four solid knots; the total knot diameter will not exceed one‑quarter of the piece width. No rot, defects, partially fused or missing knots. Cracks – no ring cracks; fine hairline cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) may be present. Pressure‑treated material may show head and length cracks within tolerances. Resin pockets: each piece may contain one resin pocket not longer than 10 cm (3.9 in). No dripping or sucking resin, no inner bark, no rot cavities, no insect holes. No manufacturing defects; only the specified tolerances apply. Bending will not exceed 1/50 of the piece length. Impact marks will not exceed 1/100 of the piece width. Twisting will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. Edge flexure will be tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the piece length. All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. The wood will be painted with a white lacquer. Main Carriers: Carrier legs will be made from pine lumber at least 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in), shaped with diamond‑tipped special knives. The carrier legs will be 240 cm (94.5 in) high. Roof: The gazebo roof’s support slats will be made from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) wood. Two corners of each slat will be routed to shape them. The top of the slats will be fastened with wood‑backed siding or fiber material. Zinc‑coated wide‑head nails will attach sheathing, followed by American cedar‑shingle roofing material. The fascia board will use min. 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in) slats cut with diamond‑tipped knives and fastened to the roof slats with galvanised wood screws. The roof connection frame will consist of eight 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) slats, each cut at specific angles and shaped with diamond‑tipped knives, mounted between the main carrier and the fascia board. All fixed connections will be made with stainless steel wood screws. Galvanised wood screws will be used for the main carrier to roof connections. Upper Panels: The upper guardrail width is 35 cm (13.8 in). Guardrail frames are 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in), sanded on all sides and milled with diamond‑tipped knives. They will be mounted to the main carrier with galvanised wood screws. Intermediate motifs are made from 40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in) wood and will be screwed to the guardrail frames with galvanised screws. Lower Panels (Guardrail): The lower guardrail height is 75 cm (29.5 in). Guardrail frames are 50 × 70 mm (2 x 2.8 in), sanded and milled with diamond‑tipped knives. They will be attached to the main carrier with galvanised wood screws. Intermediate motifs are made from wood‑backed siding and will be fixed to the guardrail frames with galvanised screws and transparent special wood glue. Anchoring: At the base of each carrier leg, a 18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in) flange will be welded to a 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate, which will be drilled for two anchor holes (13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate) and three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes (15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plates). Anchors will be bolted to the legs with screws and fastened to the ground with steel dowels. This prevents water contact with the wood and secures the carrier legs. Gazebo anchors will be fabricated by welding flanges (minimum 2.5 mm (0.1 in) thick) around at least two sides of the uprights. Six special screws will be driven into each leg for the upright connection, and two dowel screws per leg for the ground connection. All metal components will be powder‑coated with a polyester‑based finish. Seating group is not included.
