Seating Area: 500 × 500 cm (197 x 197 in) Roof Area: 570 × 570 cm (224 x 224 in) Height: 330 cm (130 in) Wood Specifications: The structure is built from first‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris). Lumber is cut to a maximum tolerance of ± 2 mm (0.1 in), with overall dimensions toleranced to ± 20 mm (0.8 in). Acceptable wood characteristics: - Knots: Up to four sound knots per meter, each knot no larger than one‑quarter the width of the piece. No rotten, hollow, split, or fallen knots are allowed. - Cracks: No ring cracks; fine hairline cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) are permitted, as are pressure‑treated cracks within tolerance limits. - Resin Pockets: One resin pocket per meter, not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length. No leaking resin, inner bark, rot cavities, or insect holes are permitted. - Deflection: Not more than 1⁄50 of the member length; impact deflection not more than 1⁄100 of the member width. - Twisting: Maximum 2 mm (0.1 in) twist per meter of length. - Bending to the grain: Allowed between 1⁄50 and 1⁄100 of the member length. - Sanding: All visible surfaces are sanded smooth. Primary Supports: Pine legs sized at least 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑point blades, each leg 240 cm (94.5 in) tall. Roof Structure: Rafters are 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) wood. Two corners of each rafter are routed, then covered with wood veneer or fiber panels fastened with screws. Zinc‑coated large‑head nails secure the membrane and attach American cedar‑shingle roofing. The fascia board uses 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in) wooden slats, also cut with diamond‑point blades, and is fastened to the rafters with special galvanized wood screws. All fixed connections use stainless‑steel wood screws. Connections between the primary supports and the roof employ the same galvanized screws. Upper Panels: Upper railings are 35 cm (13.8 in) wide. Railing frames are 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in), sanded on all sides and cut with beveled diamond‑point blades, mounted to the primary supports with special galvanized wood screws. Decorative intermediate pieces are made from similarly treated wood and attached with galvanized screws. Lower Panels (Railings): Lower railing height is 75 cm (29.5 in). Railing frames are 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in), sanded and cut as above, and secured to the primary supports with galvanized wood screws. Additional decorative pieces (40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in)) are also fastened with galvanized screws. The gate uses two wood pieces at least 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in). Seating Unit: Consists of nine L‑shaped wooden legs, each at least 4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in). One end of each leg attaches to the support frame, the other to a seating rail, using four galvanized wood screws per leg. Twelve seating rails (4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in), 300 cm (118 in) long) and eight seating rails (4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in), 100 cm (39.4 in) long) are shaped with diamond‑point blades and mounted with galvanized screws. Anchoring: Flanges (18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in)) are welded to the bottom of each support leg, then drilled for 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) clearance holes. Two anchor holes are drilled into a 13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate, and three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes are drilled into each 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate. Anchors are bolted to the legs and secured to the ground with steel dowels to keep moisture away from the wood and provide stable footings. Gazebo anchors are welded on at least two sides of each flange with a minimum 2.5 mm (0.1 in) weld bead. Six special screws connect the anchor to each leg, and two dowel screws secure the anchor to the ground. All metal components receive a powder‑coat finish (polyester‑based) and are baked in a furnace.
