It is semi‑permeable, flexible, and very durable, offering low cost and high resistance. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching. Generally, it provides good outdoor and moisture resistance, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to make slides, ladders, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, and similar components. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. Wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for items subjected to pressure or friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barriers and shading components. Thickness must be uniform, with dimensional tolerances of ±5 %. Carrier Construction: The carrier consists of circular‑section steel tubes with a minimum outer diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), cold‑formed to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, and welded using high‑frequency welding. Tubes are painted with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder coating applied after sandblasting. Electrostatic Powder Coating Process: All metal parts are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel shot is blown onto the parts with pressurized air to open micro‑pores. After cleaning, the parts are coated with polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Following fabrication, metal components undergo a 10‑minute, 70 °C, 5 % concentration degreasing bath, then a 15‑minute, 50 °C, 1 % concentration iron‑phosphate dip, rinsing, and drying. Finally, the entire product is painted as a single piece to prevent weld corrosion, using durable polyester powder cured at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes.
