Polyethylene Products – Linear low‑density polyethylene (LLDPE) is a thermoplastic used in various products. It is a semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable polymer valued for its low cost and strong resistance. Based on density and chemical characteristics, polyethylene is classified into several categories. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure, and branching type. While grades vary, typical characteristics include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene components are used to make slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs, and similar items. To prevent colour fading, masterbatch pigments used for colouring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. Wall thickness shall be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) in areas exposed to pressure or friction and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barrier and shading items not subject to load. Material distribution must be uniform, giving consistent thickness, with a tolerance of ±5 %. Carrier Construction: the carrier structure consists of steel tubes with a minimum 114 mm (4.5 in) diameter and at least 2 mm (0.1 in) wall thickness, cold‑formed to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards and welded by high‑frequency welding. Tubes are sandblasted and coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint. Electrostatic Powder Paint: all metal parts are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. A fine bead material is sprayed with compressed air to open porosity and clean the metal. After fabrication, metal components receive a polyester‑based electrostatic coating and are cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Following fabrication, metal parts are first rinsed in a 70 °C degreasing bath (5 % concentration) for 10 minutes, then immersed for 15 minutes in a 50 °C pickling bath (1 % concentration). After a final rinse and drying, the components are coated with durable polyester powder paint and baked at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. Weld seams are fully painted after welding to prevent corrosion.
