Polyethylene Products – Low‑density or linear low‑density polyethylene (LLDPE) is a thermoplastic used in various products. It is a semi‑permeable, moldable, and highly durable polymer that, because of its low cost and strong resistance, is widely preferred in industry. Polyethylene is classified into categories based on density and chemical properties, and its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While properties vary by type, general characteristics include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene products are used to manufacture slides, stairs, handrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, and similar items. To prevent colour fading, masterbatch dyes used for colouring polyethylene must have a lightfastness test value of 6 or higher. Material thickness where it is subjected to pressure and friction must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in); for barrier and shading components not exposed to pressure, a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in) is required. The material must be evenly distributed to achieve uniform thickness, with dimensional tolerances of ±5 %. Carrier Construction: the carrier consists of steel tubes with a circular cross‑section, cold‑formed to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, with a minimum outer diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in). Tubes are welded by high‑frequency welding within standard tolerance, dimension, and cross‑section ranges. The tubes are then sandblasted and coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder finish. Electrostatic Powder Coating: all metal parts are first sandblasted to remove oil, rust, and contaminants, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel beads are then sprayed with compressed air to open additional micropores and clean the metal surface. After machining, the components are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a furnace at 200‑220 °C for 20 minutes. Following metal fabrication, each part undergoes a 10‑minute pre‑wash at 70 °C in a 5 % degreasing solution, then a 15‑minute dip in a 1 % iron pickling bath at 50 °C. After rinsing and drying, the parts receive a durable polyester‑based outdoor powder coating, cured in a furnace at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. Weld seams are fully coated after welding to prevent corrosion.
