Polyethylene products – low‑ or linear low‑density polyethylene (LLDPE – Linear Low‑Density Polyethylene) is a thermoplastic used in many products. It is a semi‑permeable, flexible, highly durable polymer. Because of its low cost and high resistance, it is widely favoured in industry. Polyethylene is classified by density and chemical properties; mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure and branching type. Across grades, it provides good outdoor and moisture resistance, flexibility, low mechanical strength and excellent chemical resistance. It is used to make slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofs and similar items. To prevent colour fading, the masterbatch pigments used to colour polyethylene must have a light‑fastness rating of 6 or higher. Edge thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for areas exposed to pressure and friction, and a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in) for barriers and shading components that are not pressure‑loaded. Material distribution must be uniform to ensure consistent thickness. Edge thicknesses and dimensional tolerances are ±5 %. Carrier construction consists of steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.1 in), cold‑formed to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476 and DIN 2394 standards and welded by high‑frequency welding. The tubes are sandblasted and then coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder‑coat. All metal parts are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. A fine‑bead material sealed in a pressure‑resistant cabinet is sprayed with compressed air to open pores and clean the metal surface. After fabrication, metal components are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. They are then washed for 10 minutes in a 70 °C, 5 % oil‑removal bath, followed by a 15‑minute dip in a 50 °C, 1 % iron bath, rinsed, dried and coated with a durable polyester‑based powder suitable for outdoor use, then baked at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. Weld seams are fully painted after welding to prevent corrosion.
