(Upon request, an analysis report from an ISO 105 B02 accredited laboratory can be provided regarding the pigment’s light fastness and scale.) Wall thickness for polyethylene products must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) at points subjected to pressure and friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barrier and shading components that are not subjected to pressure. The contractor must bring an ultrasonic thickness gauge capable of measuring down to at least 50 mm (2 in) during inspection. Thickness of plastic or metal parts will be measured, and items not meeting the criteria will be rejected.
