It is a semi‑permeable, soft‑able, and highly durable polymer that is favored in industry for its low cost and high resistance. Polyethylene density and chemical properties determine its classification into various categories. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystalline structure, and branching type. Although properties vary by type, they generally offer good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene products are used to manufacture slides, stairs, guardrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The material thickness should be a minimum of 6 mm (0.2 in) for parts exposed to pressure and friction, and a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in) for barrier and shade components not subjected to pressure. Material distribution must be uniform, producing consistent thickness. Product thickness and dimensional tolerances are ±5%. Electrostatic Powder Coating: All metal components will be prepared for painting by sandblasting to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating pores for better paint adhesion. Fine steel shot will be propelled with compressed air into a pressure‑resistant cabin to open pores and clean the metal surface. After manufacturing, metal parts will be coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder coating and cured in a 200–220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Subsequently, metal parts will be rinsed in a 70 °C, 5 % concentration degreasing bath for 10 minutes, then immersed in a 50 °C, 1 % concentration iron bath for 15 minutes, followed by rinsing and drying. Finally, the components will receive a durable polyester‑based outdoor powder coating applied in a 180–200 °C oven for 20–30 minutes. Weld areas will be painted solidly after welding to prevent corrosion.
