It is semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable, offering low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Based on density and chemical properties, polyethylene is classified into several categories. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching. Although characteristics vary, it generally provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, modest mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used for slides, stairs, handrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring polyethylene must have a light‑fastness rating of 6 or higher. The product’s wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) where the material is exposed to pressure or friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barrier or shade structures. Material distribution should be uniform, maintaining consistent thickness. Dimensional tolerance is ±5 %. Electrostatic Powder Coating Process: All metal components are sandblasted to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel shots are blown onto the surface under pressure to further open pores and clean the metal. After fabrication, metal parts are coated with polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200–220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Subsequently, parts undergo a 10‑minute 70 °C bath with 5 % degreasing solution, followed by a 15‑minute 50 °C bath with 1 % iron pickling solution. After rinsing and drying, the components are coated with durable polyester‑based powder paint and cured at 180–200 °C for 20–30 minutes. All welds are protected from corrosion by applying a final uniform coating after welding.
