It is a semi‑permeable, softable, and highly durable polymer that offers low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Polyethylene’s density and chemical characteristics determine its classification. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. Overall traits include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used for slides, stairs, handrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments used for coloring must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. Minimum wall thickness is 6 mm (0.2 in) where material is exposed to pressure or friction, and 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barrier or shade components. Thickness tolerance is ±5%. Electrostatic Powder Coating: All metal parts are prepared by abrasive blasting to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a porous surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel beads are sprayed with compressed air to open pores and clean the metal. After fabrication, parts are coated with polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Metal components are then washed in a 70 °C, 5 % oil‑removal bath for 10 minutes, followed by a 50 °C, 1 % iron bath for 15 minutes, rinsed, and dried. Finally, the entire product is powder‑coated with durable polyester‑based paint and baked at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. Welds are protected by painting the whole unit after welding.
