It is semi‑permeable, soft‑able, and highly durable, offering low cost and high resistance. The material’s density and chemical properties define its classification. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching. While characteristics vary by type, it generally provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used for slides, stairs, railings, barriers, accessories, roofing, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigments with a light fastness rating of 6 or higher are required. The product’s wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for pressure‑exposed areas and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑pressure‑exposed barriers and shading elements. Overall dimensional tolerance is ±5%. Electrostatic Powder Coating: All metal components are cleaned of oil, grease, and rust using abrasive blasting to create pores for better paint adhesion. Fine steel beads are sprayed with pressurized air to open pores and remove contaminants. After manufacturing, metal parts are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder and cured in a 200–220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Post‑treatment includes a 10‑minute 70 °C dip in a 5% solvent‑based degreasing bath, followed by a 15‑minute 50 °C dip in a 1% iron‑based bath, rinsing, and drying. Final coating is applied with durable polyester‑based powder in outdoor conditions and cured at 180–200 °C for 20–30 minutes. Welded areas are protected from rust by painting the entire assembly after welding.
