It is semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable, offering low cost and high resistance, making it popular in industry. Polyethylene is classified by density and chemical properties. Its mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While characteristics vary, it generally provides good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, low mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene products are used to manufacture slides, stairs, handrails, barriers, accessories, roofs, etc. To prevent color fading, masterbatch pigment “lightfastness” rating must be 6 or higher. Product wall thickness must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) for components subjected to pressure or friction, and at least 4 mm (0.2 in) for barrier and shading items not exposed to pressure. Material distribution must be uniform, and thickness tolerance is 5 %. Carrier Construction: The carrier construction will consist of steel tubes with a circular cross‑section, conforming to TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, cold‑formed with a minimum outer diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and at least 2 mm (0.1 in) wall thickness, welded by high‑frequency welding. Tubes will be sandblasted and coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint. Electrostatic Powder Paint: All metal components will be prepared by sandblasting to remove oil, dirt, and rust, creating a rough surface for better paint adhesion. Fine steel shot will be sprayed with compressed air to open pores for paint adhesion and to clean the metal. After fabrication, components will be coated with polyester‑based electrostatic paint and cured in a 200‑220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Subsequently, the parts will undergo a degreasing bath at 70 °C for 10 minutes (5 % solution), followed by a phosphate bath at 50 °C for 15 minutes (1 % solution). After rinsing and drying, the material will be coated with durable polyester‑based powder paint in an outdoor electrostatic system and cured at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. All welds will be fully painted after welding to prevent corrosion.
