It is a semi‑permeable, pliable, and highly durable polymer that is favored in industry for its low cost and high resistance. Polyethylene grades are classified according to density and chemical characteristics. Mechanical properties depend on molecular weight, crystal structure, and branching type. While properties vary by grade, common traits include good resistance to outdoor conditions and moisture, flexibility, modest mechanical strength, and excellent chemical resistance. Polyethylene is used to manufacture slides, ladders, handrails, barriers, accessories, roofing, etc. To prevent colour fading, masterbatch pigments used for colouring polyethylene must have a lightfastness rating of 6 or higher. The wall thickness of load‑bearing components must be at least 6 mm (0.2 in) where the material is subjected to pressure or friction, and a minimum of 4 mm (0.2 in) for non‑load‑bearing barriers and shading elements. Material distribution must be uniform to achieve consistent thickness. Dimensional tolerances for wall thickness and measurements are ±5%. Carrier Construction: Steel tubes with a minimum diameter of 114 mm (4.5 in) and a wall thickness of at least 2 mm (0.1 in) are cold‑formed in accordance with TS EN 10219‑2, TS‑6476, DIN 2394 standards, then welded with high‑frequency welding. The tubes are coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic powder paint applied after sandblasting to create a receptive surface. The coating process includes: sandblasting to remove oil, dirt, and rust; applying a fine‑grit powder coating; curing at 200‑220 °C for 20 minutes; a 10‑minute dip in a 70 °C, 5 % de‑greasing bath; a 15‑minute dip in a 50 °C, 1 % iron bath; final rinsing and drying; and a final bake at 180‑200 °C for 20‑30 minutes. All welds are fully covered with a continuous coating to prevent corrosion.
