Seating Area: 400 x 400 cm (157 x 157 in) Roof Area: 470 x 470 cm (185 x 185 in) Height: 330 cm (130 in) Wood Features: The timber used for manufacturing will be first‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and overall dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Required wood characteristics include: - Knots: Each linear meter may contain up to 4 solid knots. The total knot diameter will not exceed one‑quarter of the piece width. No rot, defective, partially fused, or fallen knots are allowed. - Cracks: No ring cracks. Microscopic cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) may be present. Pressure‑treated lumber may have acceptable head and longitudinal cracks within tolerance limits. - Resin pockets: At most one pocket per linear meter, not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length. No dripping or pulling resin, no inner shell, rot cavities, or insect holes. - Manufacturing defects: None, only permissible tolerances. - Deflection: Deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the member length. Impact marks will not exceed 1/100 of the member width. - Twist: No more than 2 mm (0.1 in) per linear meter. - Bending to the grain: Tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. - Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Main Supports: The support legs will be made from eight pieces of pine lumber, each at least 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑tipped special knives and given a motif. The height of the support legs will be 240 cm (94.5 in). Roof: The roof’s carrying beams will be fabricated from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) wood. Two corners of each beam will be routed to shape them. The top side will be fastened with wooden tongue‑and‑groove boards or fiber material. Zinc‑coated membranes will be attached with wide‑head special nails, followed by shingle roofing (American cedar shingles). On the eave board, 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in) wooden battens, cut with diamond‑tipped knives and bearing a motif, will be mounted to the roof beams with galvanized wood screws. The roof connection framework will use eight 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) beams, each end cut at specific angles and shaped with diamond‑tipped knives, attaching one end to the main supports and the other to the eave board. All fixed connections will use stainless‑steel wood screws; the connections between main supports and roof will use special galvanized wood screws. Pigeon: The height is 750 mm (29.5 in); its roof beams will be made from 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) wood. Additionally, 30 × 15 mm (1.2 x 0.6 in) wooden strips will be placed 30 mm (1.2 in) apart between the upper and lower 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) members. The beams will be fastened with slatted wooden laths. Zinc‑coated membranes and wide‑head nails, then shingles, will cover the roof. The eave board will use 90 × 20 mm (3.5 x 0.8 in) wood, cut with a diamond‑tipped motif knife. Lower Panels (Railing): The lower railing height is 75 cm (29.5 in). Railing frames are 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) timber, sanded on all sides and edge‑finished with special diamond‑tipped knives. Frames are mounted to the main supports with galvanized wood screws. Intermediate motifs are made from 40 × 50 mm (1.6 x 2 in) wood cut with special motif knives and are attached with galvanized screws and clear wood glue. Seating Unit: The seating unit consists of eight 4 × 9 cm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wooden L‑legs; each leg is attached to a support and to a seating beam. Four motif‑cut wooden beams per side are fastened with special galvanized screws. Anchoring: At the base of each support leg a 18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in) flange will be welded to a 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate; two anchor holes (13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in)) will be drilled, and three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes (15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in)) will be made on each plate. Anchors will be installed with screws into the base and connected to the floor with steel dowels. This prevents wood contact with water and secures the legs. Gazebo anchors will be fabricated from minimum 2.5 mm (0.1 in) thick steel flanges, welded on at least two sides. Six special screws will be placed per leg for the structural connection and two steel‑doweled screws per leg for the floor connection. All metal components will be painted with polyester‑based powder coating in a furnace.
