Technical Specification. Technical Features: The material has high chemical resistance, low density, and a low coefficient of friction, making it a slippery substance. Water or moisture absorption is virtually zero. The cutting plate can be used especially in industrial kitchens and as a butcher's cutting block. The material is also weldable. Compared to polypropylene and PVC, it is softer and less rigid. Polyethylene (HDPE) is characterized by its molecular weight, which falls into three categories: low, high, and ultra‑high molecular weight (PE 300, PE 500, PE 1000). PE 1000 offers superior wear resistance. It provides excellent durability when operating in friction with metals. Spring: Made from 4–6 wire helical curls of 60SiCr8 steel. Minimum Ø18 mm (0.7 in) ± 1 mm (0 in) material diameter, Ø150 mm (5.9 in) ± 10 mm (0.4 in) outer diameter. During spring deflection, the distance between two points remains at least about 15 mm (0.6 in). The spring can deflect up to 30° relative to the tangent surface to prevent overturning.
