Seating Area: 250 × 250 cm (98.4 x 98.4 in) Height: 250 cm (98.4 in) Wood Features: The wood material used for manufacturing will be first‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and overall dimensions will be within ±20 mm (0.8 in) tolerance. Required wood characteristics: - Knots: Up to four solid knots may appear per meter; knot diameters will not exceed one‑quarter of the piece width. No decayed, split, partially fused, or fallen knots are allowed. - Cracks: No ring cracks; microscopic cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) may be present. Pressure‑impregnation may produce acceptable end and length cracks within tolerance limits. - Resin Pockets: Maximum length per meter 10 cm (3.9 in), limited to one pocket per meter. No dripping or pulling resin, no inner shell, rot cavities, or insect holes. - Manufacturing Defects: None beyond the specified tolerances. - Deflection: Not to exceed 1/50 of the member length. - Impact: Not to exceed 1/100 of the member width. - Twist: Not to exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. - Bend: Allowed between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. - Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth to remove any splinters. Main Carriers: Four carrier legs will be made from pine lumber measuring at least 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑tipped specialized blades to add a decorative motif. Leg height will be 240 cm (94.5 in). Roof: The pergola roof’s supporting slats will be fabricated from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) wood. Two corners of each slat will be routed for shaping, and additional motif‑finished slats of the same size will be produced using diamond‑tipped blades. All fixed connections will use special galvanized wood screws. Anchoring: Under each carrier leg a 150 × 150 × 5 mm (5.9 x 5.9 x 0.2 in) flange will be welded to a 90 × 70 × 5 mm (3.5 x 2.8 x 0.2 in) plate, after which a 12 mm (0.5 in) diameter hole will be drilled. Anchors will be mounted to the legs with screws and secured to the ground with steel dowels, preventing water contact and ensuring stable leg installation. Gazebo anchors will be welded to at least two sides of the flange with a minimum 3 mm (0.1 in) weld bead. Six special screws per leg will attach the anchor, and two dowel screws per leg will connect to the ground. All metal components will be powder‑coated with polyester‑based finish in a furnace.
