Seating Area: 180 × 295 cm (70.9 x 116 in) Height: 280 cm (110 in) Metal Features: All metal components will be painted with polyester‑based powder coating in a furnace. Metal tube profiles will be fabricated within a tolerance of ± 20 mm (0.8 in) as required by the project. Prior to painting, surfaces will be prepared by removing oil, dirt, and rust, then phosphated to create a porous surface for optimal paint adhesion. After fabrication, metal parts will be coated with polyester‑based electrostatic paint and cured in a furnace at 200–220 °C for 20 minutes. Wood Features: The wood material used will be first‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be produced with a tolerance of ± 2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions within ± 20 mm (0.8 in). Each meter may contain up to four sound knots, each not exceeding one‑quarter of the total piece width. No rot, defective, or split knots will be present. Ring cracks will be absent; hairline cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) may occur. Pressure‑impregnation specifications may allow occasional head and foot cracks within tolerance limits. Resin pockets will not exceed 10 cm (3.9 in) in length and only one per meter; no leaking or pulling resin, inner bark, rot cavities, or insect holes will be present. Manufacturing defects are excluded; only allowed deviations are within the stated tolerances. Bending will not exceed 1/50 of the member length; impact marks will not exceed 1/100 of the width. Twist will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter. Flexure in the grain will be tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Main Supports: Four support legs made from 40 × 80 mm (1.6 x 3.1 in) electrostatic powder‑coated metal profiles, each 215 cm (84.6 in) high. Roof: Roof carriers fabricated from 40 × 60 mm (1.6 x 2.4 in) electrostatic powder‑coated metal profiles. Laths of 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) wood will be attached, with two corners shaped by routing. The laths will be fastened with wood‑to‑metal screws using a wooden backing, laminated board, or fiber material. Zinc‑coated nails with wide heads will secure a tar‑coated membrane, followed by American cedar shingle roofing attached with the same nails. The ridge board will use 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in) wooden laths with diamond‑shaped cuts, mounted with special galvanized screws. All permanent connections use special galvanized screws. Base Support: The base of the covered picnic table will be made from 40 × 80 mm (1.6 x 3.1 in) electrostatic powder‑coated metal profile, with table and bench profiles bolted with special galvanized screws. Upper Panels: Upper guardrails are 35 cm (13.8 in) high. Guardrail frames are 50 × 50 mm (2 x 2 in) wood, sanded on all sides and edged with diamond‑shaped blades. Frames are attached to the main supports with special galvanized wood screws. Intermediate motifs are fabricated as separators and fixed with special galvanized screws. Seating Units: Two opposite seating units, each 40 cm (15.7 in) deep, 180 cm (70.9 in) long, and 45 cm (17.7 in) high. Seating supports are 40 × 60 mm (1.6 x 2.4 in) electrostatic powder‑coated metal profiles. Each unit includes six minimum 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wooden slats for the seat and six 40 × 90 cm (15.7 x 35.4 in) wooden slats for the back, all fastened with special galvanized screws. Table: The tabletop measures 80 × 180 cm (31.5 x 70.9 in) and is made from minimum 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wooden laths, cut with pressure‑impregnated diamond‑shaped tools. Table legs are 78 cm (30.7 in) high, fabricated from 40 × 60 mm (1.6 x 2.4 in) electrostatic powder‑coated metal profile. Anchoring: Flange dimensions 18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in) will be welded with a 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate; two anchor holes will be drilled in a 13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate, and three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes in each 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate. Anchors will be bolted to the support legs and secured to the floor with steel dowels, preventing wood contact with water and ensuring stable foot mounting. Pergola anchors will be welded to flanges with a minimum 2.5 mm (0.1 in) weld bead on both sides, with six special screws per leg for the vertical connection and two dowel screws per leg for floor attachment. All metal components will be painted with polyester‑based powder coating and baked.
