Wood sections will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Required wood properties include knots: each piece may contain up to four solid knots; the total knot diameter will not exceed one‑quarter of the piece width. No rot, decay, split, or missing knots will be present. No ring cracks; hairline cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) may occur. Pressure‑treated wood may have acceptable head and side cracks within tolerance limits. Resin pockets: no longer than 10 cm (3.9 in) and limited to one per piece; no leaking or pulling resin. No inner core, rot cavities, or insect holes. Manufacturing defects are excluded; only allowed deviations within specified tolerances. Deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the piece length. Impact marks will not exceed 1/100 of the piece width. Twist will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter. Bow flexure tolerances between 1/50 and 1/100 of the piece length. All visible surfaces will be sanded clean of splinters. Wood Carriers: Carrier legs will be fabricated from pine lumber sized at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), shaped with diamond‑point special knives and decorative motifs. Seating Unit: The seating units have a seat width of 30 cm (11.8 in), length of 140 cm (55.1 in), and seat height of 45 cm (17.7 in). Their supporting parts are made from pine lumber at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑point special knives. Six pieces of 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wood slats and four back‑rest slats will be mounted to the carrier wood using galvanized screws. Table: The table top measures 63 × 140 cm (24.8 x 55.1 in) and is made from pine lumber at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), pressure‑treated and shaped with diamond‑point special knives featuring an oval motif. Table legs are 75 cm (29.5 in) high, also made from pine lumber at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑point special knives and decorative motifs.
