Seating Area: 150 x 500 cm (59.1 x 197 in) Height: 250 cm (98.4 in) Wood Features: The wood used will be 1st‑class Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections are manufactured with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in) and wood dimensions with a tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Desired wood characteristics include: - Knots: Up to four solid knots per meter, each knot’s diameter not exceeding one‑quarter of the total piece width. No rotten, split, partially split or fallen knots are allowed. - Cracks: No ring cracks; fine hairline cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) are permissible, as are pressure‑treated cracks within tolerance limits. - Resin pockets: At most one resin pocket per meter, not longer than 10 cm (3.9 in), with no dripping or pulling resin. - No inner rot, cavities, insect holes, or manufacturing defects beyond the specified tolerances. - Deflection: Deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the member length; impact not exceeding 1/100 of the member width. - Twist: Twist will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter. - Bend tolerance: Between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. - Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Metal Paint Features: All metal components will be powder‑coated with a polyester‑based finish and baked. Metal tube profiles are produced with a tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Prior to coating, surfaces are cleaned of oil, dirt and rust by phosphating to create a porous layer for optimal paint adhesion. After electrostatic powder coating, the metal parts are cured in a 200–220 °C oven for 20 minutes. Main Supports: The pergola’s main supports consist of four Ø89 × 2 mm (3.5 x 0.1 in) metal profiles, electrostatically powder‑coated. Support legs are 240 cm (94.5 in) high. Roof Structure: Roof supports are 40 × 40 mm (1.6 x 1.6 in) powder‑coated metal profiles. On each main metal support, a minimum 50 × 70 mm (2 x 2.8 in) wooden piece, milled at two corners, is attached. All fixed connections use galvanized wood screws. Seating Unit: The seating unit legs are 40 × 40 mm (1.6 x 1.6 in) powder‑coated metal profiles. On each leg, a minimum 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wooden slab shaped with diamond‑pointed knives is mounted using galvanized screws.
