To ensure proper paint adhesion, the metal parts will be cleaned of oil, dirt, and rust, then prepared by a phosphating process that creates microscopic pores on the surface. After fabrication, the metal components will be coated with a polyester‑based electrostatic paint and cured in an oven at 200–220 °C for 20 minutes. • Wood Features: The wood material used will be first‑grade yellow pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be fabricated with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Wood specifications include: ‑ Knots: Up to four solid knots per meter, each not exceeding one‑quarter of the overall piece width. No rot, insect damage, or split knots will be present. ‑ Cracks: No ring cracks; hairline cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) are permissible within tolerance limits. ‑ Resin Pockets: Up to one resin pocket per meter, not longer than 10 cm (3.9 in). No leaking or pulling resin, inner core, or rot cavities are allowed. ‑ Insect Holes: None. ‑ Manufacturing defects: None, only within defined tolerances. ‑ Deflection: Not to exceed 1/50 of the member length. ‑ Impact: Not to exceed 1/100 of the member width. ‑ Twist: Not to exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. ‑ Bending: Between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length as tolerated. ‑ Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth to remove splinters. • Metal Supports: Support legs will be fabricated from electrostatic powder‑coated metal profiles measuring at least 40 × 60 mm (1.6 x 2.4 in). • Seating Unit: The seating unit width is 40 cm (15.7 in), length 145 cm (57.1 in), and seat height 45 cm (17.7 in). Its supporting parts will be made from 40 × 60 mm (1.6 x 2.4 in) electrostatic powder‑coated metal profiles. The seating unit will be mounted with eight 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wooden slats attached to the metal profiles using special galvanized screws. • Table: The table measures 72 × 145 cm (28.3 x 57.1 in) and is made from 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wooden slats shaped with diamond‑tipped, impregnated, oval‑motif cutters. Table legs are 75 cm (29.5 in) high and fabricated from 40 × 60 mm (1.6 x 2.4 in) electrostatic powder‑coated metal profiles.
