Seating Area: 300 x 900 cm (118 x 354 in) Roof Area: 370 x 970 cm (146 x 382 in) Height: 330 cm (130 in) Wood specifications: The lumber used will be first‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) timber. Wood sections will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and overall dimensions with a tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). Acceptable wood characteristics include: - Knots: Each member may contain up to four solid knots; knot diameters will not exceed one‑quarter of the member width. No rotten, split, partially fused, or missing knots are allowed. - Cracks: No ring cracks; fine hairline cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) are permissible, as well as pressure‑treated cracks within tolerance limits. - Resin pockets: At most one resin pocket per member, not longer than 10 cm (3.9 in); no dripping or sagging resin, no inner shell, decay cavities, or insect holes. - Manufacturing defects: None, only variations within the stated tolerances. - Bending: Deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the member length. - Impact: Impact marks will not exceed 1/100 of the member width. - Twisting: Twist will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. - Shear: Shear will be tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. - Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Anchoring: An 18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in) flange will be welded onto the base of each support leg, with a 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) washer welded on top. Two 13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plates will be drilled for anchor bolts, each plate receiving three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes (15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in)). Anchors will be bolted to the supports and attached to the floor with steel dowels, preventing water contact with the wood and securing the legs. Flange welding will use a minimum 2.5 mm (0.1 in) groove weld on at least two sides. Six custom screws will be installed per leg for the upright connection, and two dowelled screws per leg for floor attachment. All metal components will be powder‑coated with a polyester‑based finish and baked in a furnace.
