The wood must meet the following criteria: Knots – each piece may contain up to four solid knots; knot diameters will not exceed one‑quarter of the total piece width. No rot, fungus, partially cracked or fallen knots are allowed. No ring cracks will be present; micro‑cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) may occur. Pressure‑treated wood may show permissible head and foot cracks within tolerance limits. Resin pockets – at most one per piece, not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length. No dripping or pulling resin, no inner bark, no rot cavities, no insect holes. No manufacturing defects beyond the specified tolerances. Bending – will not exceed 1/50 of the piece length. Impact marks – will not exceed 1/100 of the piece width. Twisting – will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. Deflection – will be tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the piece length. Sanding – all visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Wood Carriers: Carrier legs will be made from pine lumber sized at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), cut with diamond‑tipped special knives and bearing a decorative motif. Seating Unit: The seating unit measures 30 cm (11.8 in) wide, 140 cm (55.1 in) long, and 45 cm (17.7 in) high. Its supporting parts are made from pine lumber at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) using diamond‑tipped knives with a motif. The unit includes six pieces of 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wood for the seat and four pieces of the same size for the backrest, all fastened with galvanized screws.
