Seating Area: 200 × 240 cm (78.7 x 94.5 in) Roof Area: 270 × 310 cm (106 x 122 in) Height: 320 cm (126 in) Wood Specifications: The lumber used for manufacturing will be 1st‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) timber. Wood dimensions will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ± 2 mm (0.1 in), and overall piece dimensions will have a maximum tolerance of ± 20 mm (0.8 in). Desired wood quality includes: • Knots – each meter may contain up to four solid knots, with knot diameters not exceeding one‑quarter of the total piece width. No rotten, split, partially fused, or fallen knots are allowed. • Cracks – no ring cracks; fine hairline cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) are acceptable, as are pressure‑treated blemishes within tolerance limits. • Resin pockets – at most one pocket per meter, not longer than 10 cm (3.9 in). No dripping or sucking resin, no inner bark, rot cavities, or insect holes. Manufacturing defects are not permitted; only the specified tolerances may apply. • Deflection – bending may not exceed 1/50 of the piece length; impact may not exceed 1/100 of the piece width. • Twist – maximum 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. • Shear – deflection between 1/50 and 1/100 of the piece length will be tolerated. • Sanding – all visible surfaces will be sanded smooth to remove splinters. Main Supports: Four support legs will be machined from 90 × 90 mm (3.5 x 3.5 in) yellow pine timber using diamond‑tipped special blades with decorative motifs. Each leg will be 250 cm (98.4 in) high. Roof: The gazebo’s roof framing will be made from 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) lumber. Two corners of each beam will be routed for shape, then covered with wood‑coated pressure‑treated cladding or fiber material and secured with screws. Optionally, the cladding may be finished with a shingle‑type roofing material known as American cedar shingles. The front beam will be 30 × 130 mm (1.2 x 5.1 in), also machined with decorative motifs and mounted to the roof beams with galvanized wood screws. The roof trusses consist of 50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in) lumber, with pressure‑treated cladding covering the underside. Horizontal support members (50 × 100 mm (2 x 3.9 in)) will be placed every 50 cm (19.7 in) along the lower cladding. One side of the roof will be extended for shading, and the extended side will be fully covered with pressure‑treated cladding down to the ground. All fixed connections will use stainless‑steel wood screws. Galvanized wood screws will be used where the main supports meet the roof. Anchoring: At the base of each support leg, a 18 × 13 × 3 mm (0.7 x 0.5 x 0.1 in) flange will be welded with a 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) washer; two anchor holes will be drilled into a 13 × 8 × 3 mm (0.5 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate, and three 6 mm (0.2 in) screw holes will be drilled into each 15 × 8 × 2 mm (0.6 x 0.3 x 0.1 in) plate. Anchors will be bolted to the leg bases and attached to the floor with steel dowels, preventing water contact with the wood and securing the legs to the ground. Gazebo anchors will be fabricated from 2.5 mm (0.1 in) steel flanges, welded on at least two sides, and secured with special screws—six per leg for the vertical connection and two per leg for the ground connection. All metal components will be powder‑coated with a polyester‑based finish and baked in a furnace.
