Seating Area: 190 cm (74.8 in) x 190 cm (74.8 in) Height: 75 cm (29.5 in) • Wood Characteristics: The hardwood used for manufacturing will be first‑grade Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be cut to a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and overall dimensions to a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). The wood material must meet the following criteria: Knots – each metre may contain up to four solid knots. The total width of knot diameters will not exceed one‑quarter of the piece width. No rot, decay, partially split or fallen knots are permitted. Cracks – no ring cracks; fine hair‑line cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) are acceptable. Pressure‑treated wood may exhibit permissible axial and radial cracks within tolerance limits. Resin pockets – at most one per metre, not longer than 10 cm (3.9 in). No leaking or sucking resin, no inner bark, no rot cavities, no insect holes. Manufacturing defects are not accepted; only variations within the specified tolerances are allowed. Deflection – may not exceed 1/50 of the member length. Impact – may not exceed 1/100 of the member width. Twist – may not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per metre. Bending in the grain – tolerances between 1/50 and 1/100 of the member length. Sanding – all visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. • Wood Carriers: Carrier legs will be made from pine lumber measuring at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), shaped with diamond‑tipped special knives and a decorative motif.
