Seating Area: 100 cm (39.4 in) x 100 cm (39.4 in) Height: 75 cm (29.5 in) Wood Characteristics: The wood raw material used for production will be Grade 1 Yellow Pine (Pinus sylvestris) lumber. Wood sections will be cut with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). The wood material used in production must meet the following specifications: - Knots: Each piece may contain up to four sound knots. Knot diameters will not exceed one‑quarter of the overall part width. No rot, decay, partially split or fallen knots will be present. - Cracks: No ring cracks. Microscopic cracks (1–2 mm (0-0.1 in)) may be present. Pressure‑treated conditions may allow appropriate longitudinal and radial cracks within tolerance limits. - Resin pockets: A maximum of one resin pocket per piece, not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length. No dripping or sucking resin. No inner bark, rot cavities, or insect holes. - Manufacturing defects: None; only deviations within the specified tolerances are allowed. - Deflection: Will not exceed 1/50 of the part length. - Impact: Will not exceed 1/100 of the part width. - Twist: Will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. - Compression: Deflection will be tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the part length. - Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded clean of splinters. Wood Carriers: Carrier legs will be manufactured from pine lumber with a minimum size of 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), shaped with diamond‑pointed special blades and a decorative motif.
