Wood sections will be manufactured with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm (0.1 in), and wood dimensions with a maximum tolerance of ±20 mm (0.8 in). The following wood characteristics apply: - Knots: Each piece may contain up to four solid knots. The total diameter of knots will not exceed one‑quarter of the part’s width. No rot, decay, partially split, or fallen knots will be present. - Cracks: No ring cracks will be present. Microscopic cracks (1‑2 mm (0.1 in)) may occur. Pressure‑treated conditions may allow head and foot cracks within tolerance limits. - Resin pockets: Each piece may contain at most one resin pocket not exceeding 10 cm (3.9 in) in length. No dripping or pulling resin, inner bark, rot cavities, or insect holes will be present. No manufacturing defects beyond the specified tolerances. - Bending: Deflection will not exceed 1/50 of the part length. Impact marks will not exceed 1/100 of the part width. - Twist: Twist will not exceed 2 mm (0.1 in) per meter of length. - Compression bend: Deflection will be tolerated between 1/50 and 1/100 of the part length. - Sanding: All visible surfaces will be sanded smooth. Wood Carriers: Carrier legs will be made from pine lumber sized at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), machined with diamond‑tipped special knives and decorative motifs. Seating Unit: The seating width is 30 cm (11.8 in), length 140 cm (55.1 in), and seat height 45 cm (17.7 in). The seating frame will be made from pine lumber at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), machined with diamond‑tipped special knives and decorative motifs. The seating unit will be assembled with six 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) wooden slats and four 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in) backrest slats, fastened to the wooden frame with galvanized screws. Table: The table measures 63 × 140 cm (24.8 x 55.1 in) and will be made from treated pine lumber at least 40 × 90 mm (1.6 x 3.5 in), shaped with diamond‑tipped special knives and an oval motif.
